The 99ers now have a big job this week. They must, once again send the emails, faxes and make the phone calls which could lead to our Tier 5 bill getting passed this week. To that end, here are some key contacts.

Let's all make these people as busy as possible. The republicans are not the only ones who can obstruct. We can make these people as miserable as their bosses have made us. Let's go people! But please remember, no yelling or cursing. If we want respect we must give the same.

A complete list of legislators can be found at:

These are the most up to date contacts I have, so if any of them has changed their email due to the heavy traffic in our past campaigns, the emails may be returned.

If you are in a group that is part of the American 99ers Union, they have a letter there to use. If not, you can use the following form letter drafted by Cindy Paoletti:

Senator,

I am one of millions of 99ers (a long term unemployed who has exhausted all UI benefits) and I have been without any income or safety net for over 7 months. I am still unable to find a job due to the economy and lack of jobs in our Country.

I am asking that you put all politics aside, and do what is in your heart to help millions of American citizens that have been suffering far too long.  The 99ers are in devastation and to us, this is a depression. Many of us have lost our homes, our vehicles and even our families. The winter months and Holidays are approaching and the depression is getting deeper by the day. Imagine trying to survive a brutally cold winter living on the streets or in your car, some in homes with no heat or electricity. Imagine having to tell your children that Santa won’t be coming this year and not being able to have a Christmas tree with presents under it.  Could you do that to your own children or grandchildren?

I am pleading with you to take the humanly correct stance and vote yes on bill S.3706 Americans Want to Work Act. You will be helping millions of what were once hard working Americans to survive a few months longer while we continue to search for jobs and try to restore our American Dream.

You and your colleagues were elected by us to work for the American people. Now is your chance to prove to our Country that you are and always have been for the Citizens of this country. Americans lives are at stake here, and it will only take a few Republicans to cross the aisle and save them from further suffering.

I and millions of 99ers thank you in advance for taking a stance that will save our lives.
